Indraman Singh is widely regarded as one of the leading educationists of our time, with a lasting influence on education and society. His innovative methods continue to inspire a more humane and holistic approach to learning.
Born in a small village in Uttar Pradesh, Singh faced early hardships in pursuing education. After primary school, he moved to Mumbai hoping to study but ended up working in a relative’s shop. Despite the odds, he completed his 10th grade and technical education through night school, while working as a waiter.
Later, after settling in Pune and running an electronics repair shop, his struggles ignited a passion to provide quality education to the underprivileged. In 1982, he founded a school in Bhosari with just five students. Today, it has grown into a group of institutions serving around 15,000 students. Humble and grounded, Singh remains closely connected to nature.
